A geomagnetic storm is expected to hit Earth on the evening of the 7th November 2015. This storm is the result of M class flares ejecting plasma from the Sun in the form of a Coronal Mass ejection on 5th November. It is predicted that Aurora may be visible in Northern and Mid Latitudes of Europe and there may also be disruptions to power grids and communication systems.
