Quadrantid Meteor Shower

The annual Quadrantid meteor shower will take place in early January 2014 and given that it will occur during the new moon, it could be a spectacular sight. The second biggest shower of the year could return up to 120 meteors per hour. The shower will peak around 19.30 on the 3rd January 2014 but meteors will be visible from the 1st until the 4th of the month. If you can’t get outside to see the meteors then watch live hits here: http://www.merriott-astro.co.uk/spam3D.htm
